I created the initial book and subsequent products out of a desire to celebrate and memorialize the life of one of my “pets”, Raja. Raja was a stray, black afghan that I had to euthanize after his long struggle with hip displaysia. Journaling helped me through that most difficult, empty time in my life and led to the first “More Than a Dog” book. The other products came about after that.

I’m currently working on a “More Than a Cat” book and my boyfriend’s mom (Cyndi) reminded me that a “More Than a Bird” book is a must too!

Originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, I now call San Diego, California my home. I share a home with my boyfriend, Todd, my two cats, Harry and Sally and our two dogs, Casey and Mick. We have quite an amazing menagerie!
